A Belated Christmas Present For Me and Millions of Football Fans

Posted by Peter Grandich at 9:16 PM on Sunday, December 28th, 2008

I’ve been quite ill since Christmas Eve (almost as sick as the U.S. economy). But thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles, I and millions of football fans received a belated Christmas present this evening knowing the absolute worst owner in team sports saw justice delivered in the city of brotherly love. I feel much better!

How do you like them Cowboys – Not!

P.S. The owner of Agoracom loves the Cowboys so I may be working somewhere else in the New Year.

P.S.S. I had the honor to know Chad Pennington, one of the most humble team players in all of sports. Congrats to him and a reminder of what the NY Jets franchise does to its fans every year

The Jets need a true blue defensive coach. here’s my selection

    PART ONE – INTRODUCTION –

SG Group’s interests – Alternative Health, Making Money, Family & God (All Interrelated)

Troubled to hear that our host Mr. Peter Grandich is not feeling well over the Holidays. On too many occasions, he has had respiratory illness and that could be suggesting a weakened immune system.

This will benefit many visitors because for the past fifteen years, I have subscribed to numerous Alternative Health Remedy newsletters and rather than talking about finance and markets, this is the perfect time to start a new direction for my communication. There’s a wealth of information at my disposal from respected nutritionists.

While I consume numerous food supplements each day, lately less, it’s really steady consumption of highly nutritious foods that are the foundation of my family’s good health. Family people are bored with my incessant recommendations and admonishment not to drink sodas, eat potatoe chips etc. etc. etc.

Truly, I am a bore with these nutritional insights, but no one considers me stupid and neither my wife or myself are on medications approaching old age. Follow studies and stay away from medications if possible, but here’s the start of a new direction on the Peter Grandich Website that may be of interest or benefit to you.

    BOOSTING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

    APPLES
The old timers knew what they were talking about with the legend ‘An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away’ . Apples are loaded with Vitamins and Minerals. Eating one Apple obviously won’t do it. Eat an Apple each and every day, including the skin, rich in nutrients. Apples especially support Lung function.

    TOMATOE SAUCE
Lycopene has also been shown to support the lungs. Cook a Tomatoe sauce once a week, with a can of Tomatoe paste added (Very High In Lycopene & Lutein) and this is the center of good health for the entire family. Whole Wheat pasta or Brown Rice, Please. Two to three servings a week is supportive to lung function and numerous other bodily needs. Did you know that Gram for Gram, ounce for ounce that Brown Rice is the most nutritious food? I love it drenched with Olive Oil in a Salmon dish.

    BROCCOLI
A powerhouse of nutrition, also supportive of lung function and the Immune System. Try to consume Broccoli cooked or raw with almost every meal.

    OLIVE OIL
If you can integrate 1 – 2 Tablspoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil regularly into your daily diet, it will support your cardiovascular & Immune System. This is the secret to Mediteranean people’s longevity. Be careful to avoid other Oils and avoid fried foods altogether.

    POMEGRANATE JUICE
Is one of the strongest natural food antioxidants available and supportive to both the Immune System and Cardio Vascular health AMONG benefits. Strengths vary, but go into the large supermarkets and you should find ‘POM’ Pomegranate Juice Concentrate in the juice section. Take One Ounce daily mixed with several ounces of water.

All by themselves, these simple food suggestions are powerful. It’s just the tip of the iceberg and I’ll be back again soon with more recommendations for health & longevity. It’s all about fruits and vegetables, especially berries – Raspberries, Blueberries, Strawberries & Black Berries. They’re out of season and expensive but pay the money for them rather than the doctors. The right foods are medicine, especially Berries.

As I’m writing this, I’m nibling on left over cheese and Pepperoni squares. There’s junk food too, but the good food takes care of it all.

Until Next time…..A Healthy & Happy New Year.

    Peter,

I too share your dislike for the Cowboys (even though I used to be a huge Cowbay fan…think Tom Landry, Roger Staubach). My main gripe is their arrogance and self-centerdness (think T.O., PacMan Jones). While Jerry Jones comes off as arrogant on TV, so it looks like he’s right their with his arrogant players, you go beyond that and consider him the “worst owner in sports”. Without gossiping, what makes you say that?

    Dan

I know of some stuff the public doesn’t and believe me he’s deserving of that title.

  5. Peter, I’ll take my lumps and concede the fact that we sucked in 2008. What a blow up in Philly. Inexplicable. Your Giants are in, so I have to pay homage and eat crow.

    The Greek!

  6. Peter Grandich says:

The Greek – This year? You haven’t won anything in 12 years. Your December record with Romo is pitiful. Your Roy williams deal will be one of your worse. I could go on and on but since you own this site and sign my check, I’ll stop-lol
