Swine Flu

Posted by Peter Grandich at 6:35 AM on Monday, April 27th, 2009

It’s way too early to figure in this outbreak of swine flu into ones investment strategy. We need to carefully watch the developments and then be prepared to act.

Swine means a coarse, gross, or brutishly sensual person. Nancy Pelosi?

Hmmmm! I’m surprised by your name calling. While Pelosi’s policies and behaviors may be detestable to us, personal attacks may not reflect well on Savior. Just a thought for your consideration.

Dj Get a grip! Look up the meaning of the words in the description of swine. They’re exactly Nancy Pelosi in my book. Peter has said politics impact our investments. It’s obvious he thinks she’s a negative and unlike all the double talk people on Wall Street, I’m glad Peter doesn’t hold any punches. Because Peter claims he’s a Christian doesn’t mean he, you, or I don’t sin. Didn’t Jesus say those of you who don’t sin throw the first stone/ Stop judging DJ as you sin too.

Forgive me for this thought but one has to wonder if the “swine flu” iconcerns are being overstated by our government as a wayreason to hold up the dollar and the Treasury market given last week’s recent inroads into both these. I can’t help but think back on the Avian flu issues and remember how very “understated” our response was to this very real concern and note the difference on how the swine flu is being handled by Washington. Note no deaths here in the US but over the weekend a government warning. Will be interesting to see the response to the dollar and Treasury markets given Washington’s stance on the swine flu.

You know, Peter, you’re mentioning Pelosi so much, I’m beginning to wonder if you have a crush on her. :)

    Peter,

How can this swine virus just “pop up”? In fact, it sounds similar to the avian flu which was man-made. You can read about it in a book by Dr. Joseph Mercola, “The Great Bird Flu Hoax”. I subscribe to the Natural Solutions Foundation (www.healthfreedomusa.org) which seems to be a reliable source (Dr. Laibow) and feel I have to post a portion of their recent news report here. Bottom-line for me… I am storing up to preparing to stay home and avoid a possible forced vaccination.

The Weaponized Flu Pandemic, WPF, Appears to Have Begun

“It first looked mostly like a swine virus but closer analysis showed it is a never-before-seen mixture of swine, human and avian viruses, according to the CDC.”

    http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N24524032.htm

“Don’t be concerned”, say the pundits of officialdom, “but this virus has killed 61 people in Mexico and has spread to the US.” In Mexico, the victims have died while in the US they have not. I must assume that this is because their immune systems were in better shape. You will find specific information relating to that vital truth at the end of this message. Please take the time to read it all because it could save your life.

The article in Reuters goes on to say, “Because there is clearly human-to-human spread of the new virus, rising fears of a major outbreak, Mexico’s government canceled classes for millions of children in its sprawling capital city and surrounding areas.

“Our concern has grown as of yesterday,” U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acting director Dr. Richard Besser told reporters in a telephone briefing.” but the CDC and WHO go on to note that you should not alter your travel plans even though they also say they think that there may be as many as 1000 cases in Mexico…

Eight people were infected with the new strain in California and Texas, but all of them have recovered. Mexico said it had close to 1,000 suspected cases there.

“The CDC’s Besser said scientists were working to understand why there are so many deaths in Mexico when the infections in the United States seem mild. Worldwide, seasonal flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people in an average year, but the flu season for North America should have been winding down. The U.S. government said it was closely following the new cases. ‘The White House is taking the situation seriously and monitoring for any new developments. The president has been fully briefed,’ an administration official said. Mexico’s government cautioned people not to shake hands or kiss when greeting or to share food, glasses or cutlery for fear of infection….The WHO said it was ready to use rapid containment measures if needed, including antivirals, and that both the United States and Mexico are well equipped to handle the outbreak. Both the WHO and the CDC said there was no need to alter travel arrangements in Mexico or the United States.”

I believe, on the contrary, that you SHOULD alter you travel plans. If you have any means to, or reason to, or thoughts of, being outside the US and Mexico RIGHT NOW, do it. Get a ticket and get out. Why? Because the flu may not sicken or kill you, but the forced vaccinations very well may.

Worried About The Attack Of The Swine Flu Disease?
    - A Good Health Recommendation -

Medical professionals may find my terminologies a little off center, but the advice is sound and based upon research and personal experience. This flu is a threat to infants and you should follow strict preventive hygene in homes with infants.

Are you a person that struggles for weeks with Colds & Flus? Do you have multiple Colds each year? Perhaps you have seemingly chronic Bronchitis? There’s no medicine or antibiotic that can help you because your immune system must develop exact antibodies to wipe out the virus strain. Did you ever have a Flu, seem to recover and then relapsed? That’s because your immune system didn’t develop the exact antibody and then went on to successfully find the right solution after another try or perhaps two while the illness lingers.

But a properly functioning Immune System shouldn’t need more than some hours or perhaps a day to develop the correct antibodies. For years, I struggled with Colds that seemed to go on for weeks, then to find another Cold and fearful of lung infections that were a bit too common, occuring annually. For several years or so, I haven’t had symptoms of a cold or flu and at worst sneezes or sniffles for perhaps a day.

Do you know where your immune system is located? 70 % (Seventy Percent) of the immune system is located in the Colon. The other parts include your systems that produce blood cells and other bodily functions all working in synergy. Perhaps several years ago, I read some impressive literature on a product called Sun Chlorella that seemed too good to be true. So I decided to try the product and soon after, there was a remarkable change in my resistance. True, I take numerous supplements, but it certainly seems that this product improved the health of my Colon health and Immune System.

There are numerous Chlorella products on the market, but Chlorella is difficult to absorb because of a hard outer cell wall. Sun Chlorella has a patented process which pulverizes the cell wall making it more easily assimilable. A boost to your Colon Health and Immune System is just one of the benefits of this food supplement. In about thirty – sixty days, you’ll notice an improvement in your complexion. It’s my thought that the improvement in Colon health will be a barrier against other illness.

So I’m not a representative for the product, and this is simply a good will message, but you can ‘Google – Up’ Sun Chlorella. There’s a Dr. Rosen (As I Recall His Name) who wrote a small research book about this supplement which is very popular in Japan. The benefits of Chlorella are well researched. The product is pricey, but perhaps 10 of the smaller tablets each day will be quite effective, they recommend 15.

One other recommendation is to get in touch with an ‘Alternative Health’ newsletter, and in this regard, I like Dr. David Williams the best, subscribing to his letter for over 15 years. http://www.dr.davidwilliams.com

I also smell something fishy. Sounds like someone is testing a new bug.

For what purpose ? Notice how the markets reacted and the media keeps alarming everyone about it . Almost well actualy putting fear in to us.

  14. Antonio Klapka says:

I have been noticing the trend… Since he has been dead right on the stock market, the mortal sin of vanity seems to taking a hold of our good old Peter. He is calling people names (his coments on Nancy Pelosy were brutish, weren´t they?), he talks about every subject with “authority”, God knows where he is going to go… Regards, Antonio PS: By the ways, bulls like Peter are becoming a bit too enthusiastic, maybe it is time to be short again! Just a thought!

  15. Peter Grandich says:

Antonio – In all honesty, I wonder why at times I do what I do. I call myself more names then all others combined. We now have over 20,000 daily readers and the fact that one or two express displeasure while many more go out of their way to encourage me to keep up the good work, tells me to continue being who I am. I must tell you your “speaks with authority” has my head scratching. Would it be better that I speak with little or no knowledge? Wait, that would make me qualify for most jobs in the financial services industry – thanks.

One thing you were spot on with – God indeed knows where I’m going because he’s the only one who has the Grace to get us there.

And finally your P.S. If my recent market comments make me too bullish (we’re on a sell signal so how can I be bullish), I hate to see what you think I am when i actually like the market again… hopefully in my lifetime.

    Have a nice day!

    Peter,

Biggest mistake you’ve made so far is the subscription price to this blog. ALL kinds of people will be willing to pay the high rates and give you their very valuable opinions.

You can always give them their change back. Oh, let’s see…..how about 2 cents?

    Peter ,

Some people here just have to lighten up. I love your sense of humor. Unfortunately not everyone gets it. Keep up the wonderful work . You have legions of people who are grateful that you share your thoughts so generously.
