Actually, I thought you looked a little pale, Peter. What would have really helped your look would be a rich, blue, Vancouver Canucks jersey. Great interview though! Now get outside and enjoy God’s country while you can.
Peter, I watched you on BNN last night and was surprised that NDM was not one of your top picks. Between you selling your shares and not mentioning NDM is this a hint that you think that this stock is dead in the water?
Hi Peter, with you mentioning the dollar indicator in your last up date. How will this affect the currencies you have in the model portfolio. do you think this will provide us with another opportunity to buy back closer to your suggested buy up to prices?
Have very many readers been looking into foregien currencies like susan thanks to her for all the work she does on the blog.
Peter, I was surprised you had not been watching the uranium market. So what is your opinion on the news that Russia is to flood the US market from around 2014 after the agreement on nuclear warheads come to an end.
What impact do you see this having on uranium stocks particularly those based in Canada ?
Peter, its not the neighbours that worry me in taking away my physical gold, it is the government arbitraily settling naked shorts of gold paper at a deemed price not representing its inherent value.
A certificate will have about as much value as a number of Chrylser and GM franchises that did everything right except be associated with a government controlled corporation.
Sorry, can’t agree that holding some physical doesn’t make a lot of sense.
1) What is the future for NAK, ANO and uranium stocks like DNN?
2) Re physical gold: it is suggested by some that this gold should never be sold. However, if that is not an option its value is diminished, especially if you need the cash???
coach23- THANKS so much for your very kind compliment. You made my day. It’s folks like you and some of my other “best friends on this blog” that keep me sharing when I come across something that I think will be of interest to all of you. Hope springs eternal!
Guys, awhile back I told you to keep your eyes on TC, a pure moly place (when it was below $8). Watch it again as it is up 7% today with very high volume indicating some big buys. I think the high last year was around $17 (which frankly may have been too high given where it currently trades). Would be interested what some of those techy chart readers think of this one. It was down big yesterday like so many of our things but back today.
Susan:
Glad you’re back with us. You seem to be able to dredge up useful info from all the flotsom & jetsom that’s out there.
Regarding TC/TCM, the chart looks pretty good. For what it’s worth, here is my read: nice double bottom (I like nice double bottoms, just like nice rounded bottoms lol), clean high-volume breakout from its base, no up trend break. Flies in the ointment: Slightly accelerated trend line (bullish but approaching overbought), and if the trend line does break, not much support until a couple of dollars down. I think risk / reward is pretty good because there is not much resistance until you go up $3-4. As long as the general market holds up, it should be good.
Tony Not an ounce. But i think a wider camera made me look better-lol
Jan – Just came back from playing golf with radio and TV host Michael Campbell and Howard Fitch from Cambridge House. We played at Capilano ( I think that’s the name in West Vancouver. Absolutely stunning views and I had a first in my life – a black bear crossed in front of me on the fairway-really! You just don’t see that in New Jersey.
The weather is beautiful. I hope it isn’t Sunday and Monday or the show may be empty.
Dennis – I picked in my last appearance (they noted that) and they like to see different picks. NDM has also appreciated a lot. My selling has nothing to do with it. I’m buying a house in 10 days and needed the cash. NDM had been 80% of my entire portfolio.

Peter, I have to correct you. I went to High Point, a park in New Jersey with a friend of mine hiking a few years ago. Believe it or not, a black bear walked in front of us less than 200 feet….. really, not joking. The funny thing is that he and I were kidding about the possibility to encounter a bear that day, and voila, 2 minutes later the black bear appeared. We were pretty scared, but thank goodness he disappeared in the wilderness. I have no idea how a big bear like that can disappear in such tick vegetation as if it’s nothing. But good for us he did disappear…
Question for Goldbugs: I am going to research the tax treatment for ETF’s likd CEF. There is I understand some form for US investors that they can fill out and must file at year end in the first year of holding to get some better tax treatment. Has anyone here yet done this research and have advice?

Hey looking good Peter! Looks like you’ve lost some of the weight you were trying to
Very nice, Peter.
I hope you get to enjoy the excellent Vancouver weather in the past two days.

Peter,
Any insight into what might be moving Crosshair today? Nice spike in both volume in price.

One last thing…..TC trades as TCM in Canada.
Susan,Desjardins has TCM as a top pick with a target of 16 and some change. Not too late…
