I echo the remarks in this article. I was listening to a news radio station when they interrupted their reporting to cut to the live feed which they introduced as remarks from the president regarding the incident at the Texas army base. The article describes the situation accurately. It was strange to hear a jovial shout-out and then an immediate switch to a sombre tone to discuss the matter in Texas.

I am a liberal and a democrat, but I echo your disgust with Obama’s insensitivy.

Every American has to wonder who the hell is the this guy???

He puts all kinds of superficial ”honors” and “awards” above everything! Call him a “Community Organizer in Chief” is an insult to the real community organizers.

  4. Dan says:

I know why….. From the video clip we can see, this guy didn’t bring his teleprompter, and it shows his true color…

I was but no longer am Obama fan …. the most inappropriate part was the order of events. The tragedy which occurred at Fort Hood was the front line news story. Few people would have seen the address to a Tribal Nations Conference.

The only potential excuse that one could make for Obama was concern over trivializing what for First People’s (note: they can not be considered Native Americans since their obliteration was not by their choosing) an important event.

Nonetheless, anyone slighted by being made second fiddle to such a tragic headline story must undoubtedly be considered as a minimum anti-American.

Obama’s behaviour in placing that conference ahead of those who serve their country with their lives TODAY speaks more than volumes about his ability to lead the country.

His behaviour goes beyond sensitivity it is a clear lack of respect for American’s and their way of life.

This is not a trivial matter … past indiscretions including his bowing to foreign royalty are indicative of his contempt for America … those who think he has a secret agenda may not be as far off others may have first thought.

Actions speak louder than words … and Mr. Obama does a far better job of talking the talk.

I would consider myself a fiscal conservative and extreme social liberal … nonetheless as a Canadian I hope American’s see fit to demonstrate in the upcoming elections opposition to this ruinous behaviour (economically, culturally, and from a world leadership standpoint) and send a resounding message that it must stop.

The world needs America, Obama’s anti American message must be stopped.

Where’s the liberal media on this? George bush did this and they be calling for his resignation.

  7. Starquestor says:

God Bless The Prophet! and the other sensible people here too.

It’s obviously an intentional disrespect for the men in uniform whom he despises along with the heritage of America and Free Enterprise. Don’t ever forget that Obama is a Muslim who studied the Koran and mocks the Bible.

He may be the next one to scream “Allah Akbar” while putting our soldiers to death.

  8. mjb says:

Yeah that’s a mess-up. Not that McCain would have been much better, but Obama will most likely be a one termer. Obama is not a Muslim — I actually think he’s an atheist, but smart enough to know that you can’t be an open atheist and be president.

The “Allah Akbar” thing is simply another example of what happens when people of otherwise probably average intelligence are brainwashed with religious gobbledygook, abracadabra, hocus-pocus nonsense.

Ron Paul is the only guy that I think could even start to turn the USA around — too bad not enough people realize that.

  9. John Adams says:

“I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. Thank you. Now watch this drive.”
