or is there something badly wrong when you sell $40 billion worth of securities to the public while you personally bet heavily on those securities declining?

    Not to believed.
    Shocking.

I hope the people responsible are prosecuted to the fullest…..
    Thanks, Peter.

There was a Saturday Night Live skit on just this topic: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/snl-global-century-investments/535435706

Maybe the Global Century Investments company in the skit is GS’ inspiration.

Goldman played a huge part in the worldwide financial meltdown. By producing and peddling all these toxic derivative securities while at the same time making money by betting against the market they were peddling. They also are huge players in high frequency trading, and I believe they make their money often by manipulating markets. I hope lawsuits expose their operation for the crooked one it is. Goldman epitomizes the Gordon Gecko mantra “greed is good”. They will go to any length to make that last billion. The $20 billion in bonuses they are giving out to their employees only one year after destroying the world’s economy is nothing short of obscene.

Goldman is guilty no doubt … but it is the stinking smell of an absolutely corrupt government that should have you outraged.

People are losing jobs, tent cities are being established … and Michelle Obama has a massive staff to attend to her social schedules. Obama is saying get immunized but not having his kids drugged into apathy.

Perhaps the immunization is really a sedative that keeps the citizens docile against the atrocities their own government is peacefully performing upon them.

How many examples of stinking corruption do people need to get mad?????????? and actually do something more than say there mad … action speaks louder than words and the sheople are lemmings.

Unite and fight the bourgeousie … they are robbing the people blind.

Obama had nothing whatsoever to do with Wall Street’s meltdown in 2007. The crash happened on Bush’s watch. Obama inherited a deficit that was already over a trillion before he passed a single piece of legislation. All the Obama haters can yell and scream all they want. GDP went from minus 6 percent per quarter to plus 3.5 percent. Job losses were running 700,000 per month when Obama came into office. This Friday they will be 200,000 or less. Obama’s stimulus is working no matter how much his detractors try to distort the numbers. As a permabear I don’t believe the recovery is stable, but I blame Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush a whole lot more than Obama. For everything that created the mess started on their watch. Obama’s job is to pick up the pieces.
