“For Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;.” Peter 3:10
Dr. Charles Stanley tells us we’re all messengers and sometimes we should indeed kill the messenger. Many of my regrets are for words I wish I could take back for the damage they did to many people. God forgive me.
If only speaking were as difficult as other forms of exercise…
I never wake up thinking about something I did FOR someone; it’s always something I said or did TO them.
Roger.
Once again. So much wisdom is here with few simple words. Thank you, Peter, for reminding me.
Peter,
I could not have been more taken aback sitting and listening to you speak at the recent MoneyTalks conference in Vancouver, B.C. I just had never envisioned going there and hearing someone tell me that I should read my Bible every morning before I read the stock quotes. I already do that but had not connected the two. Ironically I stopped to help a lady with a flat tire and missed the first part of your talk and I had to leave early so missed the Q&A.
Despite that, since then it has been an incredibly positive experience to read your blog and take action on some of your insight.
I consider my stock portfolio to be a serious 10 year old hobby at this point. Until the conference referred to, I had never heard of you.(My loss) Now I look forward to your Sunday blog as much or more than the other days of the week.

to every one here i just saw michael moore’s new movie capitalism a love story. ill clear the air before going on, i know he is obviously an obama nut, and that his views are quite obviously biase. But i would encourage all of u, especially americans to go see it for simply the facts and some of the statistics. it shows a very interesting view on how america has evolved and become incorporated over the years, and how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. my personal view is that obama is the lesser of two evils and i agree that he hasnt handled the economy well, but i doubt macain would have been better. thats my 2 cents for the day. hope u all had a good weekend.
Amen, you are so right!
Amen Peter, YOU ARE SO RIGHT!
Perhaps Peter will use this as an excuse to quit criticizing President Obama.
However, I agree that Jon Nadler should debate Peter because I think it would be very informative to the public.
Frank
Frank,
Here’s hoping Peter continues to criticize Obama when he deserves it. I’m sure there will be ample ongoing subject matter in that regard. Peter is not apologizing for being discerning, and I don’t think his criticism of our very poor President has done any “damage” to him.
