When Is The Last Time CNBC Had This Kind Of Guest Record On Their Show?
Past performance is no guarantee of future performance – but it sure separates the men from the boys. This is a screen shot of Peter’s appearance on BNN last week. He may not toot his horn too much – but I sure will. A lot of people talk the talk and then have selective memories – but the great thing about the web is people will help remind you.
I call this PYMWYMI - Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is – and nobody does it better than Peter.
Way to go Petey.
Regards,
George
p.s. I figured you needed a few gentle words now that your Giants are 2 games back of the Cowboys.
NAK +211.67% since Oct. 28, 2008. I’ll be a very happy camper with just 1/2 of that return over the next 12 months! Sure would love to see John Paulson swoop in and buyout NAK at $15.00 per share…
George – I don’t think what you posted is a fair assessment of Peter’s track record. You would be far better served to post his model portfolio http://grandich.agoracom.com/grandich-model-portfolio/ Look at the percentage gains and something like 90% are winners on the closed and open list.
Peter’s financial and spiritual comments are right on and insightful.
His football comments are tainted slightly because he’s a homer.
Go Cowboys!
@ Ed. Yes, you’re right. I’ve actually posted his full returns in the past. Have a look at this post: http://grandich.agoracom.com/2009/06/grandich-model-portfolio-performance-is-tough-to-beat/
Today’s screen shot was just too good to pass up.

George
Anybody knows why KMK is selling off today?
I must throw a comment in . 56 years old and 2 and a half years ago i lost my job . 29 years with the company , 1 year short of a reduced pension . I recieved a $50k severence and lost my job , pension and healthcare . I had been recieving Peters newsletter for a couple of years , did a lot of studying and a little investing , when i was still employed . I was paniced , i never expected what happened . I never invested in everything Peter recommended , but some and DD’ed everything to death . What i did do was follow Peters market calls and with a few of his picks and several of mine i started trading seriously . 2.5 years ago , 50 grand in the trading account . Right now , 90 grand in the account and $215k taken off the table . I never made over $48k in a year of working in my life . $255k in profit over 2.5 years . I have a son in university and if it wasn’t for using Peters market calls and selected picks , i’d be on welfare right now . My son is in 4th year and no student loans . Still living in the little old house and still driving the old truck but no longer terrified and although no crystal ball i am positioned and believe i will trade $150k off the table between now and the end of 2010 . Thank You Peter , not only for sharing the knowledge , but the confidence i now have .
Shelby,
I suppose KMK is selling off because Peter suggested on the weekend show that it would be prudent to take some profits around CAD$2. Well, at least that is the reason I sold about 56000 shares.
Shelby,
Also the RSI and other momentum indicators for KMK are over extended!
Dear Peter,
Last Thursday on BNN you were asked about Tyhee Development Corp. Many of us at Agoracom were surprised you hadn’t heard of this Canadian junior gold explorer with more than a 2.1 million oz gold resource. Tyhee is located in the Yellowknife region of the NWT where more than 13 million gold ounces have already been mined. By early next year 2010, Tyhee will deliver a bankable economic study and should be well underway with its drill program on its Clan Lake property where seven new high grade gold zones were just recently discovered.
Dave Webb, Tyhee’s CEO and you met a couple of years ago in New York. At that time you were spending less time covering the miners. Tyhee is actively discussed on Agoracom’s Tyhee Investor Forum, http://agoracom.com/ir/Tyhee, should you like to find out more about this exciting, undervalued company with enormous potential.
Dear Peter, as an Agoracom.com Tyhee Hub leader, I especially look forward to having some sort of dialogue with you about the merits of investing in Tyhee.
I look forward to your reply,
Sincerely,
BAIRES2
Agoracom’s Tyhee Hub Leader
Art – Your post makes it all worthwhile. Just remember I put my pant legs on one leg at a time like everyone else.
Art, that was touching, thanks for telling your story. Did you get Peter’s advice at Agoracom 2 1/2 years ago. I’m relatively new here. I hope to follow in your footsteps and make enough to buy a house. I did a ‘NAKTOTENBUCKS’ today, cashing out of NAK at 7.30 and 7.40.
SavageNation , i recieved Peters newsletter for a long time before he arrived here . I’m not a daytrader but i’m an often trader and i don’t consider myself as an investor . I consider this my full time job and put more hours into trading and gathering information that i ever did when i was working 40 hours per week . I wish you all of the best .
Mr. Grandich’s track record is clear: the date a stock was bought/sold; the profit/loss, and; insight/opinion on each position. CLEAR. This alone is counter to most of the financial industry/”gurus.”
As for the debate I find it pointless/trivial. The market has spoken, its decision is very clear, each day. So the reasoning for a debate where the victor is decided, apart from their oratorical skills, puzzles me. Daily, weekly, etc. investment/trading strategies are thereby determined on what Mr. Market says (eg. thanks Mr. Grandich for keeping us alert to a US$ bear rally).
